At her weakened state, she would go no further. She flew that skies of Lentheas hurt. Behind her, 2 Gryphons were chasing. On their backs, black elf magi. One mage shot an ice ball at her. The other a magic missle. She tried to dodge but she was hit and she plummeted to the ground! She hit the ground and hit it hard and broke one of her wings. Both landed and one of the elf magi approached her.

"You should have left well enough alone!" The elf whipped up a fireball and was going to kill her!

~You will never get away with this. There will be others that will find out your secret.~

"Ha! Brave words for such a wounded freak of nature! Now prepare to die!"

She got up and and ran as the fire ball seared her tail. She yipped in pain but she kept on running. *I must tell them...* Her mission was not complete and she wouldn't quit until it was. The elf mage was running behind her, close on her tail.

She ran as as fast as she could go until she reached civilisation, Winter Sun. She was crawling by now, exhausted by running and the recent magical hit. The elf mage found her crawling in the gate of a compound. He followed her and got another magic missle ready to strike and was let loose.

~HELP ME!~ She called out to every mind with in 100 feet.

[It made more sense to go ahead and split this off into a new thread. I'm working on a reply and will have something here very shortly, I promise!]

The magical bolt left the dark elf's fingers, but just before it struck the wounded creature, it vanished in a curl of smoke. Two roars of challenge rang out from above their heads, and together a silver dragon and a green and silver plumed watergryphon dove toward the invader.

Begone! the gryphon called out. How dare you invade our city and bring violence to a place of peace?

The magi cursed and ran off. He knew he was no match for a dragon AND a watergryphon. His footsteps quicken.

~Falen! Come!~ he told his gryphon. The gryphon pumped up its wings and went toward it's Master but not without sending an several private images to the watergryphon of what they had been doing.

These was the images:

The black elves arrived in Silian Territory from underground. They saw the gryphons and the dwarves. The elves had overthrown the small town. Its habitants; gryphons, dwarves and halflings. They pretended to be friends with with townspeople. Eventually, they trusted the Drows; it was time for them to strike.

The dark elves weakened the bunch by spiders poison in there food and drink. Months went passed, they inhabitants of Silia were ready. They had the upper hand and they captured the gryphons and the dwarves but the halflings were too small, too fast for them. They ran and in a forest known now as the Enchanted Forest.

The Drows let the halflings go. They enslaved the gryphon and the dwarven race. They put chains on them. Every time they had grown strong from the poisons given to them, they had put more in them. They were always weak, all of them.

The gryphons eyes pleaded for help. The magi noticed it and he smacked him.

"Now, let's go." The gryphon had enough. He bucked him off and hissed and and snapped at him. He turned around and was on top of him within seconds, clawing and biting his captor. He shrieked in a rebellious roar that was earpiercing.

~You deserve a fate far more than death.~ the male gryphon said. He walked towards the watergryphon and dragon. He looked up. ~I am Falen, a fire gryphon. You may deal with my Master as you please. Will you help me get this confounded collar off? It is his only hold over me. Once I get this off, I will be free.~

I am Pharos, bond to Phelan Carnarvon, the silver said. We welcome you, and will do our best to set you free.

My name is Mizuko Wavebreaker,
the watergryphon replied. Let me see if I can break this wretched thing. She reached out with water magic. Water can wear away a mountain, given time, she said. See how I can put a thousand years worth of water wear onto this collar, all in one moment.

I will allow you to help me. The dark magi are planning to destroy the peace we tried so hard to keep. They will ruin everything. They have captured dragons, wolves, young gyphlets and my son. They have killed my mate, Lady Baria. I have more reason to hate them than anyone. Falen said.

~They werewolves have returned. They attack the Lair and then Winter Sun. They are after the dragon eggs to- to....~ The mysterious winged wolf lost consciousness. She was so exhausted. She passed out.

We will help you, never fear, Mizuko said. The hateful collar around Falen's neck became thinner and thinner in one spot as the water magic worked on it, until it finally broke apart and Falen could rid himself of it with a vigorous shake of the head.

The silver dragon made a circle, low in the air. The dark mage who had held Falen in thrall was done for, breathing his last even as the silver dragon flew low over his fallen body. Pharos turned in the air and landed near the winged wolf, and his rider Phelan ran over to her. We must get her back to the Settlement so the healers can see to her, Phelan said. And we must find a way to contact Aurgath Lair, to see if this poor creature's message is true.

The silver dipped his head and then sprang into the air. We can meet near the Leviathan's pool, he said. Already the Leviathan wants to hear more of this news. Good gryphon Falen, can you come with us?

OOC: Hehe..sorry a little too premature...wait until the battle at the lair is over. Even with Turion gone, the werewolves are still going try an attack on Winter Sun. Boy, THAT'S going to be fun! lol. It will be several weeks in between the attacks so Gaelin and Glamrig will have time to prepare the Leaders at Winter Sun. They will bring valuable information to them. VERY valuable. What? You will just have to find out. hehe..

IC:
Falen shook his head vigorously to get the remainder off.

~Yes, i can and will.~ He launched himself into the air after the silver.

OOC: Can Gaelin teleport? I thought she was just at Aurgath, digging into Turion... unsure.gif
