Hi everyone!

I really enjoyed the round robin project we had going here a couple years back. (Scary that it was that long ago, hunh?)

Anyway, I thought maybe we could try a kindred sort of exercise -- maybe as a warmup to the round robin, or just on its own as a bit of fun. In my one experience with this exercise, it rapidly gets quite silly. tongue.gif I took part in this on another message board, where even with only about five people contributing the story ended up going for something like 100 posts.

Here's how it works: I'll start off a story with five words. Each person subsequently posts an additional five words to continue the narrative. Your five words don't have to be a complete sentence. It's quite possible to even finish one sentence and start a new one within your five words. Let it go wherever your fancy takes you.

Here we go:

Looking over the rail into ...

Gonna give this topic a big Bump! hoshiochaya/ukliam2.gif

Just a refresher: For a bit of silliness, each person subsequently posts an additional five words to continue the narrative. Your five words don't have to be a complete sentence. It's quite possible to even finish one sentence and start a new one within your five words. Let it go wherever your fancy takes you.

Our story thus far:

Looking over the rail into the lion's exhibit, I wondered how so many people could drop their wallets into the donation bucket by the rail. Maybe I could get them before anyone saw me, and and get them. No one was around except the mouse ...
